Bahamas Film Industry book tell all movie insider

JEFFORD CURRE’S EPIC MEMOIR highlights the 20th Anniversary of the Bahamas Movie Industry, and activates a bold new era in the fast growing cinematic movement.
To some he’s the jet setting play boy with a Midas touch. To others he’s a trusted spiritual leader. Whatever your conclusion may be, one thing remains clear and beyond contest, Jefford Curre’ is more than just a leader, he is an artist beyond compare and a powerful inspiration to anyone who struggles to make impossible dreams come true.
Jefford Curre’ is a Bahamian box-office entrepreneur, whofirst rose to international fame, as the inventor of the Bahamas Film Industry. He stands alone as the visionary innovator, that initiated the kick-start of the country’s indigenous movie making movement.Jefford Curre’ does not own the Bahamas Film Industry, but his well planned position, from both a local and a global perspective has made him one of, if not the most influential figure in the game.As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Bahamas Film Industry, Jefford Curre’ stands at the forefront, in command and setting new challenges.
As a child he received his early training in motion picture photography under the tutelage of strict, but loving parents. Motion picture and photography was the family’s hobby.Movie going was prohibited by the church, however, his father with the use of slides and sixteen millimeter projection equipment, taught the cinematic arts to the family with the same importance as biblical science.
By 1991 Jefford Curre’ saw the vision of a new economic outlook for the Bahamas, and set up his first indigenous movie industry research studio office, in Guanahani village. He placed a giant sign on the front wall that read,“Megavision Pictures”.It was initially the focus of much laughter, for many who could not even imagine locals making and starring in movies so far removed from the Hollywood scene.

By 1994 with the help of visionary resort operators, he expanded his base on to Paradise Island and officially kick-started the indigenous Bahamian movie making movement. He began the production launch of two flagship projects, “Paradise Intrigue’’(the Bahamas first all Bahamian movie) and “Mystery of the Granny Tales” (the first made for television all Bahamian movie series). As the first to enter the indigenousmovie making game,Jefford Curre’ received overwhelming support from both locals and international organizations. It was hisnew school of thoughttowards the treasures in his own back yard that set him a part and sealed his position in the pages of cinematic history.
From the nerve dangling, pioneering missions of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, to the unprecedented launch of the Bahamas movie industry, Jefford Curre’s Epic Memoir (the book) is an eye opener, a captivating journey that could challenge almost everything you thought you knew about good and evil.Built heavily on content ripped directly from top secret files, brace yourself for the ride of a lifetime. This epic memoir has best been describedas steamy, stylish, risky and compelling. It stands in a class all by itself and is not even trying to be like anything you’ve read before. Forget the critics, this one you will want to judge foryourself. Fearlessly moving, without compromise or apology, it delivers a never before told true story in spectacular entertainment style, as only Jefford Curre’ can do. It plays out like an over comer’s manual oncrisis prevention management techniques, in work, play, business and relationships. Jefford Curre’s Epic Memoir is a triumphant masterpiecebuilt on a platform of danger, excitement, tears and side splitting humor.

Young filmmakers move up faster at Bahamasfilmindustry.com

Bahamasfilmindustry.com is making it easy for start ups to move ahead quickly, by pushing the limits of qualifications, accountability and credentials. Believe it or not you can get some meaningful movie experience just by watching a variety of different movies and paying close attention to things like lighting, the angles of shots, the type of music for certain scenes etc... . However, just watching movies won’t complete the package, find someone who is making movies consistently and talk your way onto the team, even if you have to start as a production assistant standing by to take care of small chores that pop up throughout the day. Even this could be a tough position to get into, but if you offer to work just for experience or deferred payment, more than likely you will beat out the competition. You could end up in a position which will ultimately lead to making money.

You can also utilize your local bookstore or library and read a book about film making, find one that can teach you all the technical things you need to know about film making. This Fall the megavisionkingdom.com will offer a wide range of opportunities for young movie makers that really mean business. They won't be free, then again nothing worthwhile ever is.- starsinparadise
